Literacy Centers Family Night

Our Literacy Centers Family Night was so much fun! The kids enjoyed teaching their parents all about our literacy centers which include Computers, Tablet Time, Reading  Fun, Writing, Listening, and Working with Words.

Today was our first day of literacy centers.  The children did an amazing job! I couldn't be more proud.

Bear Day

Bear day was a blast! The children and their bears enjoyed many fun bear themed activities.

Early Start

I had the pleasure of teaching 10 kindergarten students during our Early Start program which took place from July 29th - August 14th. I am so proud of my Early Start group! They learned all about our school-wide expectations to be responsible, respectful, and safe. I will be counting on them to be leaders when school starts on Tuesday, August 20th. I hope to see everyone at 5:30 for Kindergarten Preview Night on Monday, August 19th. I'm really excited for a fantastic year!

Smarties Celebration

I'd like to say thank you to all of the families that attended the Smarties Celebration today. I am so proud of your children! They have learned so much this year and I could not have done it without you. Thanks again for all of your support this year. I can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of kindergarten! I uploaded the video from our Discovery Museum field trip that we watched during the celebration.  I hope you have a great summer and I wish you the best of luck in first grade.

Irving School Spirit Week

Spirit Week is April 15th - April 19th.  Check out our Mustache Monday picture!  We made mustaches last Friday for this special day.  I'd like to thank Mrs. Dunham for organizing our mustache supplies!   

Don't forget to turn in your Mustang Drawing Contest pictures.  The winners will be announced on April 22nd.
